As of March 2019, Swish users have today completed 1,000,000,000 payments, an incredible amount considering our small population! One billion. Since the start in 2012.

Boku

Boku allows a customer to make a deposit to their casino account using their mobile phone number. Boku is very simple as it takes the money directly from the mobile phone carrier. This means that each time a deposit is made on your mobile via Boku it is essentially added to your monthly phone bill. If you’re using a ‘pay as you go’ sim the credit is taken from what you have on the phone.

A mobile number is more than just a way to make a phone call.  With Boku, a mobile number can be a user identity, a digital address.  Boku’s unique platform allows mobile operators and merchants to rapidly design, scale, and operate programs aimed at giving mobile subscribers a best-in-class experience for discovering, activating, and purchasing new services. By providing access to a global network of mobile operators and their subscribers, Boku offers merchants a powerful channel with which to acquire and retain new users. These value-added services, in turn, deepen the commercial relationship mobile operators have with their subscribers.

Bitcoin

Bitcoin is a worldwide cryptocurrency and digital payment system, called the first decentralized digital currency, as the system works without a central repository or single administrator. It was invented by an unknown person or group of people under the name Satoshi Nakamoto and released as open-source software in 2009. The system is peer-to-peer, and transactions take place between users directly, without an intermediary. These transactions are verified by network nodes and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain.

Bitcoins are created as a reward for a process known as mining. They can be exchanged for other currencies, products, and services. As of February 2015, over 100,000 merchants and vendors accepted bitcoin as payment. Bitcoin can also be held as an investment. According to research produced by Cambridge University in 2017, there are 2.9 to 5.8 million unique users using a cryptocurrency wallet, most of them using bitcoin.

ePRO

E-PRO is a secure payment option that can be used to pay for services and merchandise on a number of established websites. It is provided by EMP Corp, an E-Money and E-wallet agent.

The service allows players, for whatever reason, to overturn their country’s ban when it comes to gambling and banking transactions. All bank transactions have an international merchant code that describes them. Some codes specify E-gaming, other online purchases or services and so on. While not illegal, some countries decided to block online gambling by asking banks to block transactions that are tagged with an E-Gaming related Merchant code. E-vouchers such as E-PRO make transactions between online casinos and clients from countries which discourage online gambling possible by labelling their vouchers with a different merchant code than e-gaming.
