On 18th July 2018, Netent announced the launch of their MAX slot series, which is a version of their standard games tailored for players who look for more thrill on the reels. Future game releases will be available in two versions to cater for the casual players and for so-called MAX-players. This allows operators to cater to the preferences of both casual players and those seeking even more sizeable wins, increasing acquisition opportunities and broadening and deepening their portfolios even more.

The MAX version will have the same game mechanic and similar RTP but will feature a higher volatility combined with higher payouts. BerryBURST™ and BerryBurst MAX™ will be the first new slot to enjoy a dual launch on 23rd August 2018. Both will be video slots with five rows, three reels and 15 reel positions, using the Cluster Pays™ mechanic and featuring Wild substitutions, expanding Wilds and Re-Spins.

While the wins on the standard version can go up to 3,000x stake, they are doubled on the MAX version to 6,000x bet. A sequence of full screens of the Raspberry symbol combined with an increasing number of Wild reels in the re-spins is needed to hit that super mega win.
