Tornado: Farm Escape Slot

The story behind this game tells the tale of various different farm animals who, feeling discontent with their lives on said farm land, wish to escape to another country in order to sun themselves and enjoy some leisure time. As such, they decide to hop aboard a tornado and fly on the powerful winds, taking multiple pieces of furniture along with them. In terms of the game itself, NetEnt have certainly put a whole host load of high quality graphics into it, and additional special features alongside. It has a comical introductory video package to welcome you to playing it, and there’s a completely country-based piece of music accompanying you along with your game play, giving it a bit more of a Southern influence. You can only expect that with a product from NetEnt, of course. Everything combines together in this one to provide gamers with a highly entertaining game, which also features its fair share of added features and perks, and on the whole, tells a unique and interesting story behind it.

Are You Ready to Escape with the Animals?

When you access this game, you’ll be playing on a total of five reels and three rows, which presents a familiar layout for regular video slots gamers. It’s upon these reels that you’re able to experience the different icons, which start with five different items that have been inadvertently swept up with the tornado in question. These exist in the form of a blue, three-legged stool and a purple spotted Wellington boot. There’s also a yellow wireless radio, a green, plush-looking chair, and a red briefcase. Accompanying these icons on the reels are five different animals, who have chosen to escape from the farm. These are the plucky chicken, the excited sheep, the quirky pig, the thoroughly enticed horse, and finally, the warped cow.

As well as the reels, rows and icons, NetEnt have made sure to include a nice selection of pay lines, with a total of 20 being inserted into it. These cannot be customised in any way, as the developer has fixed them in place. Players do have the chance to alter their wager around though, and this is done by adjusting the coin value firstly. This offers up a range of between its minimum of €0.01 and €1 per line. You can also alter the bet level, which provides a range of between one and 10. Should you decide to push both of these up to their maximum levels, you’ll be playing with a maximum overall wager of €200 per round.

Farmyard Special Features

The game has a couple of interesting special features included in it, and this starts with the wild icon of the game. Wild symbols substitute for all other icons on the reels, with the exception of the ‘Hot’ and ‘Cold’ symbols. It will stand in for the highest possible winning combination on a bet line.

There’s also the inclusion of something known as the ‘Storm Feature’, and this is activated randomly during the main game. This will start from one of the outermost positions on the reels, and as it proceeds, you’ll see a storm cloud move from one position to another until it moves outside the area of the reels and disappears. As it moves, wild symbols will be placed in random locations, and of course, these follow the rules of the standard wild.

Finally, there’s something included in the game called the ‘Tornado Feature. This is triggered whenever a ‘Hot’ symbol and a ‘Cold Symbol’ represented by the red and blue coloured arrows in a cloud appear simultaneously on reels one and five, respectively. During this feature being activated, the symbol which appears on the second row of the centre reel becomes active. The tornado collects all active wild symbols, and wilds substitute for the active symbol while this round is ongoing. This bonus round comes to an end when a spin doesn’t entail any active or wild symbols.

To Summarise

We’ve played Tornado: Farm Escape multiple times, and we can honestly say that it’s a very enjoyable game. Even if just for the story behind it and the comedic looks of the animals in general. The special features of the game are also wonderful to play through, and of course, being a NetEnt product, it contains exceptionally high quality graphics and animations. Add to all of this the integrated soundtrack, and we like to think of this game as being a very welcome addition to the developer’s portfolio of games.
