The layout of this game should come as something familiar to you, as it’s five reels and three rows large. This may not be anything specifically different to other slot games, but the icons included on these are obviously specific to the game’s theme. Therefore, you’ll be able to spin your way through the regularly seen A, J, K, Q and 10 symbols, although these have all been designed in the form of melting candles. They are accompanied on the reels by an icon of a spider with a red cross on its back, a large book which is locked by clasped metal gloves, an old, red leather chest, the skull of what appears to be some kind of Neanderthal, and a mask of some sort with its lips sewn together. There are a couple of extra symbols which provide the game with its special features, something which we’ll get to shortly.
As well as the reels, rows and icon, Mythic Maiden presents gamers with a total of 30 separate pay lines, although if you have a particular preference for placing bets on fewer, you can adjust the amount that are active with the ‘Lines’ box. Furthermore, you have complete control over the amount of funds you wager per spin, and you can alter this around firstly by selecting the value of a single coin. This has a range of between €0.01 and €0.50 per line, and following this, you can also change the bet level, which offers up a range of between one and 10. Therefore, a maximum overall wager of €150 per round can be played if you have all 30 pay lines active.
